Q: How do I know which level of class to take?
Based on the information received on your form you will be placed in a class under the teacher’s discretion . Every studio has their own style and technique and it’s important to feel comfortable in your class. Please talk to the class instructor if you have any concerns regarding the level of the class.
Q: How many students are needed to open up a class?
Five or more students are needed to register.
Q: Does your studio have a dress code?
Yes – All students should have their hair pulled back away from the face.
Q: Ballet Students: Leotard/Pink Tights/Pink Ballet Slippers (Skirts are optional).
Tap Students: Leotard/Black Tap Shoes (Tights are optional)
Jazz Students: Any colored leotard/tights/Dance Pants Tank Tops – NO JEANS OR T-SHIRTS!
Hip-Hop: Tank Tops – Dance Pants, Clean Sneakers

Q: Can I observe classes?
Parents are welcome to observe class on the TV monitors provided in the lobby.
Q: How do I get involved in Dance Workshops/Master Classes/Events?
Monthly newsletters are emailed with a listing of current events and sign up sheets are located at the front desk.
Q: What performance opportunities are available through the studio?
All students perform at our annual Recital in the Spring. Students that audition and make our Performance Company are also given various performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual Nutcracker performance, Company Showcase, in town Competitions, out of town conventions and local events.
Q:Will I be required to purchase costumes?
Yes – if you plan on performing in the annual Recital. Costumes are ordered from various companies in January and Recital costumes fees are $50. Instead of selling tickets to our recital, we charge each student a $30 recital fee or $50 for families to cover the costs of putting on a high quality, professional show. Costume fees as well as recital fees are non-refundable.
Q: How are lessons paid?
Tuition can be paid monthly by cash, check or credit card, the 1st through 10th of the month, after the 10th, a $10 late fee will automatically be added to your account . Tuition is not refundable, except in the event of class cancellation. Missed classes because of illness or inclement weather are made up at a different time within the current semester.
Q: Is there a registration fee?
Yes – there is a $15 registration fee for individuals and $25 for families due annually. Please note that popular classes reach their capacity quickly and early registration is recommended. Registered students who miss classes or withdraw before the end of the month are still obligated for the full amount of monthly tuition. Tuition is automatically billed monthly unless a drop form is filled out and placed in the tuition box before the 1st of the month.
